We rented a campervan in august 2022. As it was their last campervan they did warn us that it was a more dated model. They lowered the price a bit. We paid 2300 euros for 2 weeks. Towards the holiday i emailed the company but never got any response, i made the second payment, never got any response. We called the day before arrival to set time for pick up and asked some questions, they told us to make payment of the 2nd part or we could not collect the camper the next day. We send the proof of payment and never got any response. When we arrived to pick up the camper it was not ready, we waited for 2 hours for it to be cleaned. The person attending us was not friendly. When the camper was ready we did a very quick tour with an explanation of the camper. It was full of damage on the outside. On the inside there we 2 big dents in the kitchen countertop. I took pictures and the man explained that this was caused by the previous clients and that they did a quick repair. We started our holiday. The campervan smelled awfull, the cushions were all dirty, the floor was very dirty, the fridge was not closing properly so all our food kept falling out when driving, the motor had some issues when having to climb a road. The bedding was not complete and the kitchen inventory also missed stuff to be able to prepar a proper meal. So we emailed them. Never got a reply. Emailed them again. The reply we got is that we could buy the missing stuff ourselves (which woulld mean going into a city searching) and that we should empty the waste tank (which we did all the time). No sorry of excuus or anything. We asked for compensation, the smells were very awfull and almost all the time. We never got a reply. When we returned the van we wanted to empty the toilet but the lock broke (it was already loose and old) so we couldnt open the door. We warned them about this because there is fine on not empting the toilet. They replyed that we made damage on the countertop and that they were going to charge us for this. Seriously......They would wave the fine for the toilet for our inconvenience.... which makes no sense also. But putting the damage on us is seriously wrong. We never heard anything from them and so after a while i asked if they were going to compensate us in any way. They then said that they would charge us with 250 euro. They send me an selfmade invoice, i asked to at least sent me the invoice of the repair that was done and pictures of the result. This never came. The took 250 euros off my creditcard so i will now take the thing to the creditcard company so they can handle it. This campervan was not fit to rent, even for a lower price and putting a damage of someoneelse on my account is almost criminal. Don´t rent from this company. They are also very unfriendly in their communications and treat you like you are very stupid.
