As I reviewed this company last April it is only fair that I update my comments. Firstly I should say I have used this company several times in the past and always found them very professional and my problem dealt with in a timely manner. When I wrote the comment in April I was feeling frustrated as I was not getting any feedback from the company. I now know that they were trying to source the hinges without success. To give them their due when they were satisfied that the hinges were not going to be fitted they arrived at the house with a cheque for the outstanding amount.
I consider this as just a glitch in our business relationship and I will be using Wimsey Glass again in the future

I was looking for a quote so I phoned this company and they told me to email the measurements to them which I did. When I received no response to my email i called out to their workshop with my measurements and was told I would be given a quote the next day. Weeks later I have received no response. Not impressed

Contacted the company late last year to replace some glass. They came out to take measurements and said some hinges needed to be replaced. Within 2 weeks they arrived and replaced the glass but said the hinges had not arrived yet. As I had already made out the check for the full amount I said to keep the cheque and bring out the hinges when they came in. That was last November and despite numerous phone calls and promises that the hinges would be fitted the following Monday it never happened. I have contacted them this morning and asked for the money for the hinges to be returned. Only time will tell
