Navan Sofa Factory, Meath

Bought a beautiful boucle corner sofa in April 2023 and noticed my cushions had split in July 2023. Got in contact with navan sofa factory by messenger and on the phone to ask for them to be fixed or replaced. It's now January 2024 and I'm still waiting for these cushions that look like they're at least 5 years old and well used to be fitted with decent padding but the material is so bad looking and flat I doubt this sofa will ever look anything but shabby and worn. The sponge has completely split in the middle. I would not recommend dealing with this company, because all you are offered is a really bad attitude and empty promises, and told its probably my own fault because I didn't flip the cushions. I have easily waisted hours on messenger writing messages back and forth, phone calls and I'm still waiting for some sort of repair. I had seen better sofas in skips if I'm to be honest.i also was told tha my partner wanted to go to the showroom and discuss this issue face to face sounded like threatening behaviour towards Charlie the guy I was trying to deal with. Basically I've been told go the small claims court and when they receive the letter they'll take it from there. I don't think I have ever been made feel like i do by a business or customer service provider ever. I Bought my previous sofa from navan sofa factory and it went out of my home after 8 years in better condition than my less than a year old thing i paid hard earned cash for. Save yourself the heartache and shop somewhere that don't take it personally, when you make them aware of a faulty product at least they'll have the decency to repair it it and apologise.

I went to NSF pre October Bank Holiday weekend for an offer of pre Xmas delivery. The sofa arrived on time alright but the wrong colour :( I didn't expect a replacement before Christmas and we agreed I could keep the other couch once I paid in full with the correct couch due end of January. Zero communication from them and it arrived 7th May! I had to ring every 2 weeks for an update, thr poor woman in the office was hounded! I probably would of been ok with a 2-3 month lead time instead of broken promises of that will be 2 weeks every time I called. On delivery, the driver was on his own so I had to arrange for someone to be here but that was only communicated to me as he was en route! They also supplied no feet/legs on the new couch and as the driver was en route, he called to ask could we remove them from the existing oneas he had no drill! They took over an hour to come out as we'd to use a screw driver as the screws were too deep and the driver could of been in & out in 10 minutes instead of swapping the feet around! The couch is lovely but not worth the heartache! We tried to do the right thing of buying Irish but I'd stick with the bigger companies where you'll have a warranty and proper customer service.

Made the way we wanted. very friendly too.
