Your dentist at Christie Dental will exhaust all possible options to save your natural teeth wherever possible. In certain situations, however, extraction may be the only sensible route. Below are a couple of the typical scenarios where tooth extraction may be considered to be the best option…

ental veneers are tooth-coloured shells that are constructed of porcelain (ceramic) or composite materials that are permanently bonded to the front of your teeth designed to cover up minor imperfections such as gaps, chips, scratches or stains. Veneers are typically used for cosmetic reasons for patients wishing to improve the overall appearance of their teeth and their smile.

In situations where teeth are badly broken or damaged perhaps as a result of an accident or maybe as a result of decay, it’s not always possible to restore teeth using common methods such as fillings.

Having first verified that you are a suitable candidate for the teeth whitening procedure, we then follow up by taking impressions of your upper and lower teeth. We send these impressions to the laboratory and have two trays made – one for your upper teeth and one for your lower. At the next visit, we fit these trays and supply you with the whitening gel with instructions on how to use it.

A dental filling is a common procedure used by dentists to repair cavities usually caused by tooth decay and, in some cases, damage caused by accident/trauma.
