One of Ireland's largest cities, Cork has plenty of appeal. Its position as a seaport supports a cosmopolitan atmosphere and plenty of restaurants serving cuisine from all over the world. The River Lee, which flows in two channels side by side, is crossed by a number of bridges, some of which are worth a visit in themselves.
