Elaine is a graduate of London Metropolitan University, architecture school and a member of the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland (RIAI). She has gained invaluable experience through working for award-winning practices in both the UK and Ireland including; Lynch Architects, BPA, and Sean Harrington Architects. She has worked on a range of projects from luxurious office and residential developments to high-quality home designs on a tight budget. Elaine also holds a specialized B.A. in interior architecture; she has worked for award-winning design practice, Brinkworth Design. At Brinkworth, she designed retail spaces for Karen Millen, Allsaints & Whistles as well as interior detailing of luxury homes for private clients in London. In 2018, Elaine returned to Mullingar, Co Westmeath to establish McQuaid architects. Elaine's' design ethos is characterized by the lightness of touch, the authenticity of materials and attention to detail.
