The Gaslamp Gallery was established in 2011 and is located on Esmonde Street amidst the many boutiques, restaurants and superb shops that Gorey has to offer. It is a contemporary modern space with a relaxed informal atmosphere. Claire (that's me) both owns & manages the gallery along with my superb team of staff. It was while I was living in Oregon, USA that I discovered my love for the laid back informal art galleries there and many of these influences are reflected within The Gaslamp Gallery. (Coffee on tap being one of them!) Chris is our picture framer who has over thirty years’ experience in the picture framing business. The Framing workshop is located on the mezzanine level of the gallery. Chris is at his happiest when he is knee deep in framing and listening to 80’s music! Anne-Marie is the third member of our team. A great people person, you can be assured of a warm welcome. Her packaging skills are legendary and she is a highly valued member of our team. The most important thing is that we all love what we do and take great pride in the gallery. Customer service is of paramount importance to us and whether you are alone or with your family we’re happy for you to take your time & browse the many pieces on display. It is our belief that art should be accessible & affordable to everyone. We are relaxed and informal yet still professional and we love welcoming visitors. Come visit us soon!
