We are a patient-first professional counselling & psychotherapy clinic. Psychoanalytically trained. Dublin based. At the heart of our ethos is the conviction that no two people are the same. This means no clipboards. No questionnaires. No categorisation. No plotting you on a graph. No generic solutions. As psychoanalysts we listen carefully to the otherness in you. What makes you, you. That’s where work can be done.

MISCP Founded by Dublin 15 native, Alan Moynihan, in 2011 Laurel Lodge Physiotherapy is committed to the provision of high quality chartered physiotherapy services to the Dublin 15 community. Alan Moynihan is a chartered physiotherapist having completed a MSc. in Physiotherapy in the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen, UK. He has also completed a BSc. in Sports Science and Health in Dublin City University and believes that a firm underpinning of anatomy, biomechanics, exercise physiology and principles of rehabilitation combine to inform accurate diagnosis, appropriate treatment and ensure a speedy and full recovery. Having practiced physiotherapy extensively in the UK, New Zealand and Ireland, in a combination of public health systems and private practice, Alan rarely encounters a condition that he hasn’t seen previously in practice and treated successfully. Alan is a committed manual therapist, with a keen interest in deep tissue massage, sports injuries, orthopaedics, back and neck pain and lower limb biomechanics. He also takes an interest in national anti-doping policy, having published research in this field. He is committed to ensuring that any athletes he works with achieve their goals fairly. In his spare time, Alan still occasionally dons the boots for St. Peregrines GAA club in Dublin 15, but his days of rugby with Coolmine RFC have come to an end. He’s most likely to be found running these days. The Gazette Newspaper group recently interviewed Alan and some of this can be seen below.
