McGroarty Monumental is a long established family business coming from a long family tradition of skilled stonecutters in the Mountcharles townland of Drimkeelan. Michael McGroarty has worked in the family business since he was knee-high with his father William. Having completed a study in the trade-in Limerick College of Technology Michael then took up full-time employment in the business in 1987. Michael now runs the business and has extensive knowledge of the business producing quality craftsmanship in all lines of the company's business.
