Also manufacturers say that repair information is proprietary and work to shut down independent repair companies restricting access to service documentation, parts and software. So… most of the time we do not even have schematics to follow in order to repair anything. This is where our electronic skills come in place and makes us stand out from the crowd. Apart from this, we also fight for a cause, which is the right to repair bill. We are the only company in Ireland fighting for such thing in the consumer electronics field. The Dublin Tech Summit gave us the chance to team up with people from other fields such as medical, agriculture and automotive to form a repair association. We want to propose a legislation in Ireland, and we are the first company fighting for this cause in Ireland. Teknik was founded in 2013 as an electronics repair company in Pamplona, Spain. We soon became the leading repair company in Apple products above authorized providers and started working nationally. In 2016 we returned to our roots here in Ireland due to the high demand in this market and focused on data recovery, which was something we started doing in back in Spain.
