I have been collecting and restoring my own clocks for a number of years, and decided to make a career out of it. My primary interest is in restoring/repairing antique clocks, but I have worked on many other clocks. I am located centrally in Munster, within a radius of counties Limerick, Cork, Waterford, Kilkenny and Tipperary, but not confined to this. I generally only do house calls for larger clocks but can call for a fee if required I have a small number of clock from my own collection for sale to suit most pockets & tastes. All these clocks have been fully overhauled and have a years guarantee. Services available 1.A basic clean and re-oiling 2.A basic repair 3.A full overhaul of the movement (mechanism) 4.Partial repair/replacement of missing components & polish of case 5.A full restoration/construction of a case 6.Glass can be replaced (possibly repaired), whether it be a glass for the front bezel or a reverse painted glass panel etc. The relevant service is discussed with the customer, and the level of repair/restoration is based on the clock’s condition and the customer’s requirements. Due to demand, I now also restore gramophones. These have been a hobby of mine for a long time now and because of the recent upsurge in interest in records & gramophones, I m happy to add this service.
