Superstars.ie is the home of Superstars Football Academy, a player-focused coaching programme designed to help children build confidence, improve their football ability, and genuinely enjoy the game in a positive, structured environment.

We deliver high-quality coaching for boys and girls across a range of ages and ability levels, from beginners who are taking their first steps in football to more experienced players who want to sharpen their technique and decision-making. Our sessions are built around clear coaching outcomes, with fun, energy, and encouragement at the centre of everything we do.

What we do

At Superstars Football Academy, we provide a mix of weekly training and seasonal programmes, including:

Weekly coaching sessions that develop core skills, coordination, and match understanding

Skills clinics focused on ball mastery, passing, finishing, 1v1 ability, and first touch

Goalkeeper support (where available) with age-appropriate technical training

Camps and intensives during school breaks to accelerate learning through repetition and variety

Small-group and 1-to-1 coaching for players who want targeted development

Team support for grassroots clubs looking for structured session plans and coaching assistance

Our coaching approach

Our coaching is based on a simple idea: confidence grows when players feel supported, challenged appropriately, and given clear ways to improve.

Each session follows a consistent structure so players know what’s expected and can track their progress:

Warm-up and movement to build agility, balance, and coordination

Technical development with lots of touches on the ball

Game-based learning to encourage scanning, decision-making, and teamwork

Small-sided matches where players apply what they’ve learned under realistic pressure

We focus on helping players understand why something works, not just repeating drills. That means better development, better retention, and players who can transfer skills into real games.
