St Declan’s Ashbourne Credit Union will endeavour to meet the social and economic needs of our members and the wider community with our common bond area. It will make finance available to all members in the co-operative manner and on a not-for-profit basis. It will aim to serve its member’s needs with dignity and integrity by developing, and making available, high quality financial products and services. Directed by a voluntary Board of Directors that is elected by the members at the Annual General Meeting, our Credit Union offers a wide range of services to our members. St Declan’s Ashbourne Credit Union Limited is affiliated to the Irish League of Credit Unions. Those resident or employed in Ashbourne or in the greater surrounding area are deemed to hold the Common Bond and our catchment area can be generally described as being within the following boundaries: Our Northern boundary side is contained by Cushinstown, Hawkinstown, Rincetown and Moorepark. Our Eastern boundary includes Baldwinstown, Adamstown, Cottellstown, Part of Oldtown, and Rolestown West. Our Southern boundary includes Thornton, Kilcoskan, Coolquoy, Ballmacarney, Belgree and Priestown. Our Western boundary extends from Painestown, Hallstown, Rackenstown, Lagore Little, Mooretown, Powerderlough, Porterstown, Mullinam and Fidorfe.
