Specsavers Opticians & Audiologists - Newbridge - Kildare

Go to liffey valley specsavers. My son had a recent eye test appointment in specsavers Newbridge. While waiting to get his eyes tested he was asked 3 times would he like to start looking at the frames to which i replied no thanks he would like to keep his existing frames. After his eye test he was asked again about new frames, once again i told them he doesn't want new frames. I was then told it was their policy that they dont put new lenses in old frames. I told the girl that we should have been informed of this before getting his eyes tested. I then asked whether it was policy of the Newbridge branch or for all branches she didnt know and asked had to ask a colleague. They called the Naas branch who said they could subject to the frames being in good condition. I went to naas and was told that my sons rayban frames would snap in the machine any other brand they could do. I decided to try liffey valley. They had no issue at all with my sons frames. They ordered his lenses . We popped back 10 days later, left his frames there for an hour, job done.
