PAC Studio Limited was founded in 2007 by Graham Petrie and Peter Crowley. We are an architectural practice where environmental considerations are fundamental to making buildings, places and spaces that are distinguished by their atmosphere. We fill our spaces with natural light, we craft these spaces with natural materials, we welcome in the warmth of the sun and the breath of fresh air.

Our design process is underpinned by an understanding of the potential for physical and psychological well-being in those using and engaging with the spaces and buildings we make. We approach each project with an open mind – our buildings do not look the same, each being a specific response to the brief, the physical and social context, and the climate. We develop a range of physical models and digital models throughout the course of every project to simulate and test qualities of light, space and materials within the context of environmental performance and project brief. In this manner, we seek to make beautifully crafted, healthy environments – both comfortable and energy efficient in use, stimulating and pleasurable in experience.

Rigorous management through the design and construction stages is fundamental to our successful delivery of unique projects that exceed expectations, whilst remaining within the budgets and timescales our clients demand. Importantly for our clients, we keep the practice at a size that allows the directors to remain closely involved in our projects at all stages. Each project is led by one of the directors in collaboration with Brian Guckian, associate director, who coordinates our team of architects. We work for a range of clients in the private and public sectors, including the Office of Public Works, the Health Service Executive, Housing Associations and numerous Government Authorities and Education Institutions.
