I should have added above, that after the pharmacist had raised her voice to say ‘get back on the mat’ she followed with something along the lines of ‘what did you think you were doing? What did you think the stands were there for?’, also in a raised voice.

Pharmacist raised her voice at me when I walked into the shop to try to look at products. She told me to ‘get back on the mat’ (the mat inside the door). This is due to Covid-19 but there were no markings on the ground -as in other shops and no signs in the shop stating that you could not walk past this area. There were a few product stands blocking the way to one side of the shop but not the other and I assumed that it was to limit the number of people in the shop at one time. The shop assistant was very pleasant and helpful and when I suggested to her while paying for a product that it might be a good idea to put a sign in that area in the shop to alert people to the rules the pharmacist butted in to say that she is not the owner. I said it’s a customer suggestion as to what may be helpful and she could take it or leave it. I feel sorry for the owner of the pharmacy as that pharmacist is bad for business due to speaking to customers in a demeaning manner. I will not return to that pharmacy. I have rated two stars as the shop assistant was pleasant and helpful.
