Andrew McGahey is the founder and Managing Director of McGahey Construction. He has a background in Structural Engineering and has over two decades of experience working with some of the larger construction companies in Ireland, Britain and the United States. He has worked for Suffolk Construction in Boston, USA and with Birse in London, England and more recently he spent over a decade with G&T Crampton Ltd. in Dublin. He has worked on an extensive array of projects from individual residences, a pharmacology dept. for Cambridge University, a multimillion inner city housing development in Boston, multi-storey office blocks (headquarters for Ulster Bank and Bank Of Scotland), the conversion to luxury apartments of one and a half levels of the Four Seasons Hotel (while the hotel continued to trade) to the International Channel Tunnel Train Terminal at London's Waterloo Station.
