I wish I could give double the amount of stars I'm giving right now, because the workers of this shop provided some of the most helpeful and kindest service that I've ever received at any establishment. I've been living in Galway for the past few months as a visiting student, and a few weeks into my stay while classes were just starting up, my laptop began to have issues with overheating extremely quickly after getting turned on before shutting off very fast. After asking around for places I could get it checked at, I walked in and handed it off. I came back a few times afterwards just to see what progress was looking like getting it checked out, and while I was nervous and a maybe a little overbearing with visits, they were always warm and friendly during conversation and very patient with my questions. Eventually they diagnosed the issue and gave it back to me so I could send it home to get it fixed from byhome college; my laptop was a college-issued device and there were restrictions on what extent third-party repairmen could tamper with it. That being said, they didn't ask for a single cent for how much time they had it for, and they even issued a loaner laptop to me that helped me get through 2 months until I could finally get my original device back as a result of shipping. Though they told me I would have to pay a small fee for borrowing the laptop when I first received it, upon returning it they told me that no charge was required! Overall, the generosity, kindness, and patience which they showed me as a foreign student who was nervous about going through a technological crisis meant more then they could probably know, and I could tell based on seeing them with other customers that they share the same level of good service and good humanity to everyone who walks in their door. If I ever get the chance, I'll be talking to anyone who is willing to listen about this place and the wonderful gentlemen working here.

No matter your issue, let this be your first stop. I had a problem with my laptop, other shops priced me at £150 but David's pricing was even lower than £20 and not too mention, my laptop was fixed in just two minutes!!!!Literally!! I most definitely recommend.

I recently had an issue with my laptop and needed it resolved quickly. After contacting a number of repair shops and feeling very frustrated I contacted Laptech. They were a breath of fresh air, they contacted me back within a couple of hours with the solution and the laptop would be available for collection that day.
