Kumon Drogheda North

Welcome to the Kumon Drogheda North Study Centre. Students are observed in class and their progress is carefully recorded so they continue progressing at a steady, just-right pace, studying an appropriate amount of work at home on a daily basis. We have students of all ages and abilities attending the centre, with current students ranging from infants through to junior certificate age. The average time for students studying Kumon at the centre is 12 months or more due to the long-term nature of the programme. For children who are struggling, Kumon identifies and addresses the gaps in their learning and for children who have a good grounding in the subjects, it supports their further development. The aim is to develop love for the subject that continues throughout their lives. Following an initial assessment, students begin their study at a comfortable starting point and gradually move through the programmes as they master each new topic, all the while developing in confidence and in their ability to self-learn. The assessment is free. The unique Kumon Maths and English Programmes pursue the potential of each child, developing their ability and nurturing their independence.
