Hooked, Galway

This little place has a lot going for it, not least the friendly interested service - which is where other places fall down. The food is of the very highest quality, I love the décor, and its utterly unpretentious as Galway eateries can be sometimes if you follow. Its ideal to pop into, the people it attracts are interesting as its just slightly out of the way and yet .... its never quiet. We find the fish presentations delicious, I love the side salads with mine and you don't feel tempted after such a good meal to eat highly dangerous deserts - though they don't skimp on the yummies. Try HOOKED it never fails to surprise and delight; no airs but the best most interesting food in town without sky high prices. This is not what I call fast food, this is quality nosh, and I think it is worth paying a little extra for the experience. Best of all you will be very well treated there, whether you are local or not.
