Meg and Aimee bring experience, specialised knowledge and kindness to their counselling approach. We provide the time and space to untangle difficulties and move ahead positively in life, work and relationships.

Life can get overwhelming and messy at times, and we all need a little help to regain our strength and life balance. Aimee and Meg are qualified, skilled counsellors who offer help to live fully while juggling all the difficulties that life brings. You can learn ways to respond and manage that will nudge you out of just getting by and towards a future life that you want.

Their integrated approach is person-centred and recognises that all people possess unlimited potential to be their own greatest resource. It is not just one counselling approach they use but draw from a variety of approved methods because each individual is unique and different. Vibrant, fulfilling lives are possible regardless of the difficulties that arise throughout life.

How will I know if I need Counselling?

Everyone has deeply sad and upsetting days. If your hardship is lasting longer and starting to affect your daily functioning then you may need to look for outside, professional help. Even getting up in the morning, showering and dressing, having normal conversations, going out with friends or showing up to work or college can be overwhelming.

"I reached the point where I couldn't see anything ahead clearly. I knew I needed help and I got it." If you are concerned about how you are behaving or feeling, and have tried to change but haven't been able to on your own, it is time to consult our professional staff.

Signs that you could use some help:

Choosing drugs or alcohol to deaden pain
Alcoholism or drug addiction
Life spiraling out of control
Relationships breaking down
Finances dwindling
Job loss
Problems with low energy and ill health
