Diagnostic Audiology Services (Ireland) Ltd. is a family run, Irish owned independent hearing clinic, established in the Charlemont Clinic (1985) by Judith M Nugent in Dublin, Ireland. Specialising in diagnostic hearing evaluations, digital hearing aid technology and assistive devices for hearing loss. We are committed to providing patient focused care available to every person. We aim for excellent service and exceptional outcomes.
At Diagnostic Audiology Services our goal is to provide the patient with information resources to help maximize communication and improve your overall quality of life. While we offer most major brand of hearing instruments and rehabilitative technology, our main approach is patient centered care. Our prime concern is the correct diagnosis of the hearing problem through using the latest state of the art equipment provided by GN Otometrics. This in turn results in being able to provide the best personalised rehabilitation program for all of our patients.
Ear Nose and Throat (ENT) services, Speech and Language Therapy, Lip Reading, Tinnitus Retraining Therapy, Audiological Services, Hearing aids and Aural Rehabilitation are all areas that will be addressed onsite at our Artane branch but those seeking further evaluation regarding there hearing in our Beacon Court location will be referred to ENT onsite or further services in the nearest location possible. FREE HEARING SCREEN
Hearing screening is a test to tell if people might have hearing loss. Anyone failing a hearing screening will be referred back to ther GP or to a ENT consultant. However at diagnostic audiology services we might recommend a more comprehensive audiologic (hearing) evaluation. The follow-up evaluation should be conducted as soon as possible after the failed hearing screening and no more than 3 months later.
After working as the chief diagnostic audiologist in the Eye & Ear Hospital Dublin, Judith M Nugent opened Diagnostic Audiology Services (Ireland) Ltd. in 1985 in the Charlemont Clinic Dublin 2. In March 2014, after 29 successful years in Charlemont clinic, Judy along with her daughter Charyl opened a clinic dedicated to the late Charles Nugent. This clinic is located in 16 Maypark, Malahide road.
