The Cyc-Lok bike locker system comprises a unique patent-pending design in which near-triangular lockers are interlaced end to end on a compact foot-print of 5.4 metres by 3.0 metres. This equates approximately to a single car-parking bay. In this format, the lockers present as 6 lockers on each long side and are never more than one locker in depth.
The lockers are 1.2 meters tall and are distinguished in a busy streetscape by the Cyc-Lok tower which stands at 2.4 metres and houses the local access control devices and user interface. The product is both eye-catching and unobtrusive at the same time.
Cyc-Lok has a multiple community design application granted - Oct 2014 (no. 002556142) and is patent pending for global markets.
Cyc-Lok has developed bespoke access control technology to provide for exclusive account, subscriber and member’s controlled access and use of the lockers. Our electronic componentry is part of our IP WAN and housed in the secure tower of each unit. Each unit is integrated with our dedicated cloud-based account management and payment collection system.
Cyc-Lok have not reinvented the wheel in either hardware or software development. We have specified and purchased, reconfigured and upgraded proven robust technology and software as a service and implemented our own services on high integrity data-centres to ensure reliability, best of class service levels in terms of up-time, redundancy and have made provision for effortless and cost effective scaling, adaptation and flexibility.
Cyclists may subscribe to the Cyc-Lok service and avail of access to locker stations whether on their regular commute or as tourists or visitors to new cities or countries as the installed footprint expands.
Cyc-Lok will offer pay-as-you-go rates for shoppers and short-stay customers and will in the future provide subscription rates for frequent user.
