If you turn a worry over and over in your mind, the worry can grow. Talking to someone about that worry can help you to work out exactly what is bothering you and help you explore ways of coping.

Sometimes it can be easier to talk about personal issues to a professional who is independent of your friends and family.

People come to therapy for a variety of reasons - because of difficult experiences or life changes such as a relationship breakdown, bereavement, illness or because they want help to overcome feelings of sadness, anxiety, anger, depression or low self-worth.

Something might have happened in your past and now is the time to deal with it or you might simply want to offload to someone who will not judge you.
