BRACKEN CLINIC, Balbriggan

Im with the clinic for 10 years, recently I dont know who this rude old dark hair lady in glasses at the reception is, but her level of customer service and attitude is just not acceptable. They dont care about the client anymore just about money. I had an appointment for a blood test today 35e and she told me i have to see a doctor first which is another 55e, she was purely looking for money cause they did a blood test in another clinic for me without seein a doctor and without any problem. And at least she could be more proffessional and tell me that over the phone so I wouldnt have take time off work for that day. Rude, not helpful, not friendly at all.

The Bracken Clinic used to be a really good clinic once and very customer/patient orientated. Unfortunately it has very much deteriorated in the last year or so. While I cannot complain about excellent medical care (which after all is the most important part), I'm not very happy with reception. First of all, it takes long holding times on the phone when contacting the clinic. Then the clinic is closed 1 1/2 hours for lunch, then I used to be able to come to the clinic when I was in pain, even when I had no appointment; just had to wait for a slot, which was fine, now I have to make an appointment even when in pain, which in this last case I had to wait a whole weekend. My son was refused a signature for a medical card, because he hadn't paid 50 Euro for a past consultation. Today I was told they couldn't give me my monthly Cert as they insisted that it wasn't the right date. Even though I explained that the letter from the social welfare asked for that cert as it is vital for my livelihood they still refused to give it to me. I put it down to bad book keeping. What happened to this once so marvelous, friendly, caring place?
