Baby Biz, Dublin

On 04/03/14 this shop closed without notice and left all expectant parents with no explanation as to what is going to happen to their orders. They were even taking deposits up to the evening before knowing they were closing!!! I'm one of those expectant mothers. I had my order placed and paid for in full. Up to last week G*****, the owner, told me that my order was en route and that I would have it at the end of the week. When I didn't hear from him I tried contacting both of their shops and got no answer eventually I found out they had put "closed for Stock take" signs in both shops. I can't get an answer from anyone, I have contacted every agency in the country but to no avail. We have lost over €1400.00 with little hope of getting it or our items back. These people are absolutely cruel to do what they are doing to people. They wouldn't even have the decency to make themselves available to their customers. All I want to know is where I stand. My baby is due in less than 5 weeks and now I will have to go re-order the items at a cost we had not accounted for and hope and pray I get them before the baby arrives. These people have no shame, the stress they have put people under.
