At B Safe at Work, we have a direct and uncomplicated approach to Health & Safety at work. We apply a simple formula of common sense and communicate with our clients in a language that they understand.

B Safe at Work provides training & consultancy services including tailored services throughout Ireland. We assist small, medium and large organisations in the private and public sector. We aim to protect people, property & business.

In May 2013, B Safe at Work have changed the status of the company from a partnership to a limited company. The company is going from strength to strength.

About us

Company description

Just to give you, the reader, an insight into the directors experience in this business.

Pat has been employed in Health & Safety for the past 12 years. Before that he spent 20 years working in the Pharmaceutical /Chemical Industry.

He holds a Higher Diploma in Safety Health & Welfare from UCC and has through the years completed many Health and Safety Courses including the following:

¿ MIITD (Member of Institute of Training and Development).
¿ R.T.I.T.B. (Road Transport Industrial Board)
¿ Member of IOSH
¿ Member of IIRSM
¿ Forklift Instructor
¿ Fas Reg Instructor
¿ Manual Handling Instructor & Assessor

¿ Train the trainer certification course with the Irish Institute of Training and Development

Pat would be the main consultant assigned to this project and has many years’ experience dealing with writing up risk assessments & SOP’s.

Supporting him will be Eileen Maher. Eileen graduated from UCC with a Higher Diploma in Health & Safety at work with UCC in 2007 and also holds a Certificate in Health & Safety through UCD. Eileen now works as Health and Safety Trainer & Consultant. Eileen is an experienced, qualified Manual Handling Instructor and VDU Ergonomic Assessor with particular reference to office and retail environments. She has a background of varied Office Experience for over 8 years and handles all the day to day running of B Safe at Work. She also carries out Safety Representative training as well as risk assessment training.
