I feel it's crucial to provide an honest account of my living experience at Glenlara House, managed by Aviary Estates Ltd, emphasizing concerns about the property's conditions and the responsiveness of management, particularly the Managing Director. My intent is to shed light on the need for prompt attention to pressing issues within the complex. Since my arrival in August 2020, I've faced significant challenges that impact the overall quality of life: 1. Pest Issues: • There has been a persistent challenge with pests throughout the complex. Despite repeated complaints, this issue continues, posing concerns for residents' well-being. 2. Occupancy Standards: • Instances of overcrowding have been observed, raising questions about adherence to occupancy standards and the overall safety of residents. 3. Behavioural Concerns: • Reports of anti-social behaviour and drug-related incidents have been noted. Addressing these concerns would contribute to a safer and more pleasant living environment. 4. Safety Apprehensions: • Regrettably, concerns about personal safety have been voiced. A constructive dialogue to address these concerns is vital for fostering a secure community. 5. Management Responsiveness: • Communication with management, especially the MD, has proven challenging. There's a need for improved responsiveness and effective action to address residents' concerns. 6. Inclusive Living: • As an LGBTQ+ individual living with my partner, I'm keen on promoting an inclusive and supportive environment. There's room for improvement to ensure the well-being of diverse residents. This review serves as a sincere call for attention to the issues faced at Glenlara House. Families considering the move, especially those with children, should be aware of these concerns. It is my hope that this message prompts necessary actions from the management to enhance living conditions for all residents. I urge the management to address these issues promptly and transparently for the betterment of the community.

I have been living here over 12 months and still waiting for the smoke alarms to be fixed there is constantly mildew on the walls seems to be an infestation of moths;s as my clothes have been left unrepairable bad smell ppl taking drugs on every level and when reporting to management was told they could not do anything about it electricity is also been tampered with works when it wants would no advise anyone with kid to stay there my kids got really depressed there the fob again works when they want to constantly having to report to staff as you would be locked out side in the rain really down and out place the beds the carpets the flooring are there since the pyramids were built I would rather go homeless with my kids
