In the thirteen years since completing my training, I have worked in counselling and psychotherapy in Limerick and Tipperary both in private practice and as college counsellor in LIT. I have also worked as a facilitator of corporate training where I offer a variety of presentations and workshops including Critical Incident & Group Crisis Intervention as well as Smoking Cessation. My education includes an Honours Degree in Counselling and Psychotherapy, as well as a Diploma in Neuro Linguistic Programming and Therapy. As part of my commitment to continuing professional development I regularly participate in training to enhance my existing skills and broaden my expertise. I am professionally qualified to work with bereavement, suicide intervention, stress management and relaxation techniques. As an accredited member of IACP (Irish Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) I am bound by and adhere to a professional code of ethics and practice.
