Adare Cottage Shop Ltd, Limerick

This has to be the most beautiful gift shop I have ever visited. A stunning thatched roof cottage. You could spend hours in here browsing the store. They had everything from Irish gifts, to stunning clothes to amazing smelling candles. I wanted to buy one of everything but I settled on the most comfortable pair of Mephisto shoes and a Nicholas Moss mug. Everything is so high quality. Service was great was super helpful helping me pick out the shoes. This is a must stop shop if passing Adare. 5 *****

Adare is a beautiful village and stopped here on the way to Kerry recently to have a cup of coffee. Stumbled upon the lovely Adare Cottage Shop located just across from the Dunraven Arms hotel and what a treasure trove of individually selected gifts and fashions. The shopkeeper was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. Delighte to discover that they have an online shop as well. Well worth a visit - a hidden gem in one of Irelands prettiest villages.

I'm glad to see other negative reviews online of here. I'm local and me and a friend were more interested in the architecture of the thatched cottage than the products, which were nice nonetheless. After learning we were local and declining her help in finding something, she gave us the most evil stare. I made an excuse to leave, and as we did, she shouted sarcastically, "thanks for shopping!". This woman does not deserve to run such a pretty and historic establishment, and taints the Irish experience of local hospitality for tourists.

Adare Cottage Shop. Never ever somebody treated me so bad in a shop. The shopkeeper is a woman who makes rude comments. First of all she asked where I was from, after the answer, she said, you are not going to buy anything, and she kept going with the rude conversation. Obviously, I left the shop as soon as possible without buying anything

The worst shopping experience I have ever had. I looked on YELP and saw only negative reviews of this shop and I added one. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before I walked through the door, I would have skipped it all together. The rudest most condescending salesperson that I have ever encountered. Shop all the other shops in Adare AVOID THE ADARE COTTAGE SHOP ALL TOGETHER.
