Vodafone sucks
Veronica Moore
I cancelled my broadband and phone line with Vodafone but because their accounts system is not up to date, I am being harassed by their appointed collectors. I never received a final invoice from Vodafone, instead I received a demand letter from Intrum Justitia for the sum of €135.56. I paid this immediately on 21st March 2013 via the post office and thought this would be the end of it. Then last week, I received a text message, an email and two phone calls from BCW Group informing me that I owed Vodafone €154. I told them I had already paid €135.56 to Intrum Justitia and I couldn't possibly owe any more money to them. I didn't have the receipt to hand and told them I would phone the following day. Before I had finished breakfast next morning, they phoned again demanding money from me. This time I gave them the receipt number and a piece of my mind with any luck I won't hear from them again. When I later checked my Vodafone account I saw that the amount outstanding to date is €117. 88 which includes a termination fee. The €135.56 was never credited to my account and now BCW Group are harassing me for another €154 which I do not owe. By rights I should be looking for a refund of the overpayment and if it wasn't for the fact that I am due to go into hospital very shortly, I would be in the courts suing them for stress and harassament. If there are any solictors out there who would care to take on my case, I will gladly pay you to do so, just to give this shower of extortionists the good kick in the a** they so richly deserve
